S C U L P T U R E  in  KILDONAN PARK, FINGLAS, DUBLIN

A DUBLIN SCULPTURE -

This commission is part of Dublin's sculptural heritage awareness project 2020 - 2022,
a Dublin City Council initiative developed alongside Parks and Landscape Services,
with the City Arts Office and supported by Hugh Lane Gallery, and the Visual Artists Ireland.

The proposal is one of interconnectivity which communicates in real and digital time.
The sculpture concept includes public engagement through being:
embedded, appliquéd, and actioned into the form.

It is founded in participatory research with the community during stage 2,
and created through active methodology with the community in stage 3 to be a sculpture which is the
'Inclusive Voice of Finglas' ;
installed for the 'Local' and, the visitor to Finglas, Dublin.
